Free Community Lunch and Workshop on Alternative Food Models

Join us for a free creative workshop on alternative approaches to communal food provision facilitated by Another Provision, followed by a meal cooked by Heart & Parcel.

In this ‘Fooooood and What’s In Between’ event we will discuss historical and contemporary models that use food to build community and foster wellbeing, rather than merely to make a profit. Everyone is encouraged to share their experiences and ideas! Jointly, we will imagine what a different, more just, sustainable and healthy food future might look like.

*Workshop participants are invited to bring a food-related object to add (and slot into) our specially-developed sculpture - this can range from kitchen utensils, vegetables, spices, to images.

A delicious free-of-charge meal will be served by Heart & Parcel.

Please book your place in advance to give us an idea of how many people are coming. Everyone is welcome to join and bring friends and family!

Another Provision applies strategies of public art to highlight the need for societal change, imagine concrete alternative models at the urban level and de-stigmatise public services. We are artist Johann Arens and researcher Hanna Baumann.
